First question: I hope you are familiar with HTML – because this is what it will take. Add the leftmargin=”0″ topmargin=”0″ values to your Body tag. This will override the space that most browsers place at the top and left margins of the page, allowing the table to start immediately.
Second question. Can you post the page as an attachment for us to look at?

      Cheers

        Hi Catherine & thanks

I think I can cope withe the HTML (just).

Page attached. But I seem to have solved it. I started with plain text, then used Table Convert to change to a table. I tried creating the table first, then added the text. Seems OK. Strange?

ps, won’t let me upload as is, so I’ve zipped it.

          Catherine,

The top margin doesn’t appear to make a lot of difference.

          Have I posted it right

Place the topmargin attribute within the body tag.

I’ve changed the sample file that you posted – see what you think.

I’ve used the bulleted list tag to hold the lines together – if you really didn’t want the bullet – you could try making a bullet image out of a transparent gif – then nobody would see it anyway.

I’ve nested one list inside the other, which is what I assumed you wanted to do. You’ll note the position of the topmargin and leftmargin attributes within the body tag. In addition, I’ve placed a style at the top of the page to place a negative indention on the bulleted list. I’ve replaced the font size tag with the small tag.

              Cheers
