    Hello all,
I am editing a document created by someone else (probably by cut and paste). In all the other tabkes in this document, i can successfully make the first row into a header to repeat on next page. With this particular table, I can’t get the first row to repeat whatever I do.
    Thanks in advance.

      Judith,

It seems perfectly normal to me (Word 2003 SP1)

        Thanks for looking at it.
When I open the attachment you sent back, it’s fine. When I open the attachment in my post it isn’t. Maybe opening it in 2003 fixes it up.
        Regards,

Note: the document behaves normally in Word 2002 SP-3 too.

            … and also in Word2000.
Maybe extracting the table into a separate document fixed the problem, whatever it was?

            cheers Klaus

Strangely, it’s not there in Word 97, but as soon as told it to repeat it, it was there.

You aren’t viewing it in ‘normal’ view, are you? It wouldn’t show then …

That’s what I saw in Word2000 and 2003 (and Stuart too I guess, since he reposted the doc).
The first row in the table was not set as a heading row (Table > Repeat table headings).

        cheers Klaus
