    Ok, so I have a user who is using Outline Numbering in WordXP and she’ll apply, say, level 2 to a paragraph and then press Enter and get another Level 2 paragraph. What she wants is a level 3 paragraph. Normally you can switch down a level by pressing the Tab key at the beginning of the paragraph. This does not work for her. It’s not the document – when I open it on my PC, the Tab key works just fine. Any ideas?

      This behaviour is controlled by

      Tools > Autocorrect Options > Autoformat as you Type > Set left- and first-indent with tabs and backspaces
