I read a review recently about a program that quickly returned classroom computers to their pre class state, obviously an image file situation. I thought it was from Paragon but cannot find any review.
Have looked at Acronis, not mentioned. Apart from Ghost I cannot think of other imaging programs. I have drive Image, Ghost and Acronis but I need this for a friend.
Any help welcomed. This was a dedicated program for the purpose.

Symantes’s Norton “Go Back” is another possibility.

      Check it out at: GOBACK

Check out BootItNG at TeraByte Unlimited. It may not be quite as polished as True Image or Ghost but is cheaper and does more.

Unfortunately none of the above hit the mark, the review I read explained how the program I wanted changed the registry to a Run Once entry and on reboot restored the original configuration, it sounded great but being almost 70 it had no appeal, I now have a friend in need. Unfortunately the memory above my shoulders has changed from RAM to ROM.

Are you sure that the change hasn’t been to WOM (Write-Only Memory)?

          I know mine is!

That creates a further problem!!!! I can never find the pencil which generally is in my left hand.

Hey I found it, http://www.faronics.com/html/deepfreeze.asp%5B/url%5D or the first link was http://amtsoft.com/deepfreeze/%5B/url%5D looks like the amtsoft site has been transferred/sold/whatever to the farconics site.

Thanks for all the help. I have spent 4 hours reviewing all e-mails (left for review) and found the link, then when I started to type the address autocomplete kicked in in IE6

Dave my apologies, I cannot explain what or how I missed that post, maybe that is the reason the autocomplete worked on my browser. I have spent days looking for this.
It is certainly what I want and beg you to accept my most sincere apologies.

(Edited by DaveA on 13-Feb-05 09:09. Added reboot remarks.)

      Check out DeepFreeze

Deep Freeze will give you a clean fresh image on EVERY reboot, while the system is Froze,
