Well, I must of did it to myself, but I don’t know how… When my wife attempts to sign on with her limited account, she gets a message: “Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Service service” and it won’t let her sign on. When *I* sign on as an administrator, I can sign on, but I get a message that doesn’t stay around long enuf, telling me that limited users will have a problem, and to check the Event Viewer. I have checked the Event Viewer, but don’t have any idea where to look. There’s a lot of stuff in there, but nothing I can find that addresses this problem.

My wife wants to read her email, and she would be eternally grateful if someone has an idea on what to do about this issue…

    Thanks,

    Dave

For the archives… A re-boot resolved the issue. I suppose I could “set rant on”, but it wouldn’t do any good – so – have a good day!!
