Syncing only some of address book

Is it possible to sync just a portion of the address book? I link with ACT 4.0 in the office and want to keep personal information on my Palm–not on the corporate database.

Try using categories for each contact (e.g. your personal contacts can be placed in the “personal” category, business in “business,” etc.)

I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t link just part of the address book. (I’m using one of the earlier ACT/Palm conduits). A suggestion I’ve received from another source would be to put my personal addresses in a separate application like the database mobileDB. I’m going to try that. Thanks for all the suggestions.
