• Suppress Click To Next Slide (2000)

I am using a downloaded presentation for educational purposes to introduce the notion of multimedia using powerpoint. The designer has managed somehow to prevent the clicking of the slide to move it to the next. He is forcing the user to use action buttons for navigation. I have checked the animation settings and vba code but I can find nothing to indicate how this has been done. It is an extremely useful feature and I was wondering if any Lounger knows how it is done.

    Regards

      Hi Rob,

      – Select Slide Show | Setup Show…
      – Click the radio button “Browsed at a kiosk (full screen)”.
      – Click OK.

      Another option is:
      – Select Slide Show | Slide Transition…
      – Clear the check box “On mouse click” in the “Advance slide” section.
      – Click “Apply to all slides”.
This will disable the mouse click, but the user can still use the keyboard to go the next or previous slide. Kiosk mode prevents that too.
