Network Rail, the UK authority that oversees railways, has organised a conference in Coventry and needs to transport staff from Reading to Coventry (a distance on approx 100 miles).

Now there are train stations in both towns and direct trains can be organised easily.

So how are Network Rail sending the staff – BY BUS

Why relative costs by bus £2,500 by train £27,000 (not a typing error TWENTYSEVEN THOUSAND)

And they wonder why people complain about high train prices.

Sort of like our FAA ( Federal Aviation Authority ) exec’s taking a train or bus because they are afraid to fly?
