This driver update showed up in my Windows Update screen on 09-21-2020 after routine booting. I did not click “Check for updates”.

SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd. – Modem – 2.16.14.0

My GPE is set as “Notify before downloading and installing any updates” so it was not installed.
Today, 09-22-2020 it has been withdrawn. Whew!
To my knowledge, there are no Samsung components on this machine, especially a modem. I do have a Samsung phone (Note 8), but do NOT use “Your Phone” in windows. I have connected my phone with a “C” cable numerous times to access downloaded files and gallery pics, but that’s it. I’ve never had it on a Hotspot from my phone.
Anyone else spy this Windows Update? Seemed pretty weird to me!
