I have two computers networked together in a peer-to-peer arrangement sharing a 56K modem internet connection. Both run Win98SE. The network is running fine. I see both computers, can pass files, etc. I installed ICS, and have two strange things going on. When I boot the ICS client machine, it dials the modem in the ICS server machine regardless of whether I have requested a connection from either machine. And, every so often, it will just dial the modem after both machines have been up and running for a while.
I installed Twiga’s Remote Disconnect Utility and I can break the connection. Just can’t seem to keep track of when it gets connected.
