Stored Procedure Names (Access 2000 (9.0.2720))

I have some reports that are based on stored procedures. When I try to run the reporst, I receive an error message that the procedure does not exist.

In Enterprise Manager the procedure is named usp_EntriesByDate, however, the Access window shows the name as usp_EntriesByDate;1 (dbo).

I can understand the ‘dbo’ part, but why does Access add the ‘;1’ to the name?

Is the name difference generating the error?

Is this an Access ADP? The stored procedure names should normally be the same. If it’s an MDB, you shouldn’t even see the stored procs.

Yes, it is an Access ADP.

The table and view names are identical to SQL Server.

Only the procedures have a different name.
