    Hi everyone!

I’m going to be sick puke if i don’t find an answer to this question soon: do you know a way to stop the autoarchiving of flagged items, besides using the “Do not autoachive this item” command? I’m looking for a “Rule” of some kind that will help do this, or even a third party app.

This isn’t my first post, but it is the first time I’ve used the “Smilies” here, sorry if I went a little overboard! smile

At the risk of being underneath the output of your first smiley, I recognise your objection to the use of “Do not autoarchive this item” but here’s a method which at least makes it a bit easier to use until someone comes up with your desired solution.

      • Right click on a column heading and select Field Chooser.
      • Drag and Drop the ‘Do Not Autoarchive’ field to the column headers. This introduces a column of Tick boxes (which you probably can’t tick at the moment)
      • Right click on the column headings again and choose Customize Current View.
      • Select ‘Other Settings’ and then tick the ‘Allow In-cell Editing’ box. OK back to Outlook.
[/list]Now, although you still have to manually set the attribute ‘Do not Autoarchive this item’ it only requires a click in the box to set it.
        Exits ducking. . .

Thanks so much! I’ll forward this to the person that will be using this. BTW, I’m not nauseous anymore, either!
