I am now getting an error message when resuming from hibernation for the forth or fifth time. I haven’t gotten this message on a fresh boot yet. The total error message is; Stop: 0X000000C5 (0X00000000, 0X00000002, 0X00000001, 0X805D5E7). I have run chkdsk, sfc/purgecache, sfc/scannow, disabled hibernation and then re-enabled to create a new hiberfil.sys file, uninstalled and re-installed the D-Link Wireless card drivers (yes they are the most current) as this was the only change to the system (other than MS updates) in a number of months.
I am about to do a system repair if no one out there has a better idea. If that fails, I will re-install
the OS but roll it back to Win2000 (no I didn’t upgrade to XPP, this is still the factory image from Dell, almost a year old) as my old laptop runs the D-Link card flawlessly.
