I am struggling my way through the Access 2007 changes, and, among the things I can’t fine is the Startup menu. (Tools/Startup in 2003) Any help?

Office button > Access Options > Current Database

Could you help with the Compact and Repair command, and the Northwind sample database? The Compact and Repair command is available for the Rapid Access toolbar, but I should be able to execute it without having it on that toolbar. I am looking for these things in a Spanish language version of Access, and it is difficult. Thanks.

          1) Office button > Manage > Compact and Repair Database.

          2) I don’t have Office 2007, I don’t know if there is a ribbon item or whatever for the Northwind database. I’ve read, however, that Nancy Davolio has been sent packing… sad

            [/indent]

First Clippit – then Nancy – who’s next?
What did she do? Photocopy parts of herself at the office Christmas Party?

If you open a new db, under the local templates there is a Northwind 2007.accdb offered. That will open the new version of Northwind, sans Nancy and with a whole new interface.
