At work, our email client has been changed to Outlook 2007. I have managed to get my emails delivered directly to my local inbox whenever I open the Outlook application.

My question is, does anyone know how to get Outlook “two thousand and heaven” to start with the local inbox open instead of the exchange server inbox? I used to be able to do that with previous Outlook versions but it appears that, in Microsoft’s quest to become an Apple GUI clone, they gave that functionality away. Any thoughts?

Go to Tools | Options | Other | Advanced. You should be able to set any folder which Outlook knows about as the starting folder.
