    Hei
I use Kaspersky anti virus and also Spyware and from time to time get a BlueScreen shutdown – Vista – which says that the failure was caused by Kaspersky.
Kaspersky have said that the SpywareBlaster conflicts with their product and that I should remove it.
Anyone else having problems with this sort of programme conflict?

Sorry dropped this into wrong forum … can’t see how to move it to the correct one!

Just a follow up on my original comment. Today the blue screen again kicked in and again stated to be caused by Kaspersky. As of now I have disabled the SpywareBlaster to see if this is really the problem … don’t really want to get rid of it unless its essential!
Are there other anti-virus programmes that are affected by Spyware?

I apologize in advance, this is going to be a wishy-washy reply.

In theory, SpywareBlaster shouldn’t conflict with other software since it doesn’t “run” except when you update it. But if you search Google, you’ll find mention of conflicts between SpywareBlaster and various other security programs (in a quick search, I saw Kaspersky, AVG, Windows Live OneCare and Norton AntiVirus) and also heated debates about whose fault it is. It’s hard to decide what is really true…

          Thanks Hans-
As you say … whose fault is it!
Think I will have to turn off the SpywareBlaster as the Kaspersky is a bit more important. No doubt they will solve their conflicts in time.
