Specifying custom fiscal quarters (Acc2000)

I know how Access can group records in a crosstab query by calender quarters (1 Jan thru 31 Dec) but I can’t find an easy way to group by a custom fiscal quarter. Our fiscal year is 1 Oct thru 30 Sept. Any ideas? I’ve looked at the Datepart function but it seems to be used only to set the start of a calender quarter.

Add a column to your query and enter the expesion :
Quarter : Choose (Month([YourDateField]),2,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,1,1,1)
This suppose that you already have selected the dates from 1Oct thru 30 Sept.
