I have a database that crunches numbers and needs to send e-mails to about 200 people.

My boss’s boss decided they should come from an e-mail account I have permission to use, but I can only access it in Outlook by Tools, E-mail Accounts then Open These Additional Mailboxes. Since my e-mail account is the default, it Access wants to send from my account, not that additional one…

How do I get around that?

    Thanks!

You cannot specify the sender using DoCmd.SendObject. You’d have to logon to Windows as the user you want to act as sender.

Alternatively, you could use Automation to control Outlook from Access but then you’d only to be able to specify the “Sent on behalf of” name – for security reasons, Outlook VBA doesn’t allow you to change the actual sender.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
