    Hello Excel gurus,

One of our users received a file from a client where most of the file was in Spanish. When we open the file initially, it shows values in all the cells, but if we press F9 #NAME errors appear throughout the model, which is very large. So far we have found that the Spanish function Fecha.Mes is EDATE, Redond.Mult is MROUND, and Tasa.Normal is Nominal. While replacing these strings did clear up some of the #NAME errors, we still have thousands of them. So what I’m wondering is, does anyone know of a utility that will take a file created in Spanish and open it in an English version of Excel?

As always I am thankful for your knowledge and in your debt…

        Hi Hans,

That utility looks like it might be a winner. I won’t know until I get permission to use it here (they are quite security-minded here).

I’ll let you know. As always, thank you for your prompt and really valuable reply…
