SP3 Problem (Office 2003)

This is probably old news to all of you, but since I’ve been away for a while I thought I’d mention it.
I had occasion recently to go back to an application built in Access2k that needed checking. It had run fine on my home laptop in Access 2003 (SP2), but no matter what I tried on my office computer (SP3), combo boxes wouldn’t display anything. After tearing out a few handfuls of hair, I ran across a Microsoft ‘fix’ for Access 2003 that SP3 broke. After applying the fix, all my combo boxes worked fine.
The fix number is KB945674 and is designed to address several problems SP3 caused in Access.

Thanks, it has been mentioned before but since many Access users are suffering from the problems that you describe, it doesn’t hurt to post the solution again.
