• source for Excel graphs (2003)

    Is there a way I can use the source below for a bar graph. The asterisk next to the 22% doesn’t get recognized and the bar is blank. thank you.

    Blue 14%
    Red 30%
    White 22%*

      If 22%* is in one cell, the asterisk makes it into a text value. Text values aren’t plotted. Either remove the asterisk entirely, or put it in the next cell to the right.

      I was able to chart your numbers by applying a custom format to the 22%. Not sure if it’s what you’re after but you can see it in action on the attached spreadsheet. HTH
