I am working on powerpoint presentation. On the 1st slide I have my header which is part of the master slide. On that slide I have the title that scrolls up and the background music plays properly. The problem is I have another fade up on that same slide that I want to start right after the title stops, and I want the sound to continue through both. The sound is a wma file. I know I should change it to a wav file. In the custom animation I have the wma file first, the title second, and the text box 3rd.Text is set to fade after previous but only does so with a mouse click. I only want th audio on that slide

    Help!

      Try this:

In custom animation pane double click the entry for the audio

In effects tab select stop playing after current slide or after 1 slide

Make your other animations “with previous” with a suitable delay

Thanks John. When I converted the audio file to ,wav, all went smoothly. It played when it was supposed to. I faded out the audio after about 30 seconds or so and then timed it to fade back up. Presentation was a hit.
