I know there’s a way to “trick” Excel into letting you sort by more than 3 categories – keep the 1st 3 sorts intact – then sort by another 3 categories. Yes? How?

Yes, by starting your sort with the least important columns.
Say you want to sort on A, B, C, D, E (in that order). You start the sort on C, D, E. Then after that you sort on A., B, C.

It works great for the first 6 headers – then I need to sort by two more – then it screws it all up! What am I doing wrong?

Have attached the file I need to sort – D through K

        Thank you!

          • Selected A3:L67
          • Data > Sort Cols K; L; Blank. All Ascending. No Header Row
          • Data > Sort Cols H; I; J. All Ascending. No Header Row
          • Data > Sort Cols D; E; F. All Ascending. No Header Row
