All of these are free. I came up with them when pointed to Cnet as I tried to find a download location for AdAware (Phil’s post). The last two I’m downloading. Audio Maestro’s gonna hang on off my PC for a while till either it gets fitter or my connection is upgraded smile.

Audio Maestro Lite Pack(WARNING: 17 MB exclamation)

    Pawn(Don’t be fooled into believing it’s 308 K, actually it’s 1,98 MB)

    RedEye
    [indent]

RedEye allows you to easily remove any ‘red-eye’ in a digital photo (caused by a camera’s flash reflecting on a person’s retina). After loading a JPEG photo file into RedEye, you can automatically remove the ‘red-eye’ by simply selecting the area with your mouse. You can also slightly vary the amount of reduction of the red color component, and change the output JPEG quality.

      Diegol:

Many thanks for the useful links you publish from time to time.

The RedEye utility particularly I have found useful and unobtrusive, sitting on the Send To menu.

      Tony.

        Hi Tony,

Glad to hear you found RedEye useful. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it (when I checked my photos directory, NONE of my scanned photos had red eyes!!! I’m sure they had red eyes before they were scanned!! smile) but it’s there just in case.
Now, this Pawn game… yeah, it’s something serious. I got hooked for a couple of weeks till I realized how close exams were. I’ll probably get hands to it when Summer (Winter in the North Hemisphere) comes.
I’ll do my best to keep delivering interesting links. There are many others that contribute hugely for this board to be superb. I can mention Ken who saved my rear a couple of times when I couldn’t find some links to software I was refering to, to name one, but the truth is all of the board habitues make for a warm contribution/knowledge-sharing experience.
