I have begun using Smart Tags in preparation for an upgrade where I work, and I have a couple of questions for anyone who has become familiar with these things. (I should also explain that I also have downloaded the MSN MoneyCentral Stock Quotes add-in.) Anyway, when I type a ticker symbol in a cell (say A1), I automatically get the Smart Tag in that cell. So far, so good. If I then select to insert a refreshable stock price from the Smart Tag, I get a load of data that covers an area on my spreadsheet from B1 to Q12, something I didn’t expect. So my first question is, how do I get rid of all that stuff I just downloaded? There doesn’t seem to be any quick method of selecting and deleting it.

Second question is about getting a Smart Tag back after removing it. I clicked on the Smart Tag in cell A1 to look at the options. One of the options was “Remove This Tag”, so I clicked that and the smart tag went away (although not the load of data it downloaded). Try as I might, I couldn’t find a way to get that particular smart tag to reappear.

Thanks in advance for any help…
