Slideshow help – adding another slide

We have a slideshow with music – 12 slides, nice transitions every 45 seconds – all works well.

Problem is, if we try to add a new slide at the beginning (or anywhere), we move the music object from slide 2 to slide 1, create our title text box. Check all transition settings – all seems fine except when we play the slide show, it does not change from slide 1 to slide 2.

Any suggestions?

Hi Don

I seem to remember having a similar problem some time ago. Instead of ‘moving’ the sound icon I think that you need to delete it and then reinsert it into what is now the first slide. I am not 100% sure so suggest that you try it on a copy first.

It’s not clear HOW you are adding the sound file.

What I was doing was to insert the new slide in position one, then go to slide 2 and cut the sound icon then go back to slide one and paste it.

In the custom animation pane check

The entry for sound animation is at #1
Double click the entry and check stop playing is set to after 999 slides
