slave a hd w/WinXP

I am getting a new computer with Windows XP Pro on it. My old computer has Win98. I would like to slave that old hard drive onto my new system so I have all of the files there. Will this work with the Windows XP?

Sure will, just make sure you change all you jumper settings. In fact, this is usually how I migrate data to a newer drive – clean OS install, and piggyback the drive. Your only limitation is the IDE chain, two and two makes four and there ain’t room for no more!
