Have just read in the Washington Post at http://blogs.washingtonpost.com/securityfi…?referrer=email[/url] that there may be a conflict between the 6 Windows patches from 9 August and Norton AntiVirus 2005. Scroll down toward the bottom of the article for the one reader who is in a fix. Does anyone else have this problem? I am worried about instaling the latest patches.

Thanks for any news on this. David

On 3 machines still running Nortons 2005 AV, we are not having any problems anfter MS update.
Did a “Live update” after the MS updates and all is working just fine.

I have Norton Internet Security 2005 and have not experienced any problems with the latest patches.

      Same as Dave.
No problems running NAV 2005 with all latest patches installed.

Piling on – I’m using NAV 2005 and installed the latest batch of updates without problems.

I too have NAV 2005 and downloded the 9 Aug patches without having any problem — yet. Will report if anything unusual surfaces.

Thanks to all of you for your feedback. I still haven’t got notification (here in UK) of the new patches. But I’ll feel better about it all after reading your answers. Hope there is no conflict here.
