I do not know what this program is, nor do I know why I am getting emails from it What I do know is that when Centurylink email transfers the SharePoint email to Thunderbird Email on my Windows 11 24H2 computer, there is no link at the bottom of the screen to allow unsubscribe nor anything else.

What I do know, which is absurd at best, is that clinking on the email automatically switches to SharePoint in the Firefox browser and tells you to sign up, or some such idiocy.

I have tried to get rid of it, even wasting time opening my Microsoft account and attempting there to get rid of OneDrive, which I have never opened, but now sees that it has SharePoint. I remember having removed OneDrive sometime ago, but that it is there now does not surprise me given the number of other changes in the OS I have encountered recently. Firefox may have updated recently; I did not check that before posting this.

In case you may be wondering if and when I might get to the point, I am there, which is here: How to I remove SharePoint? Were I still fire chief, I might borrow the Jaws of Life, or else use my 5-lb or 10-lb sledge hammer, but less brutal assistance would certainly be appreciated.

Later: I just may have figured out that, were I to mark the email as junk, it apparently disappeared. Of course, that would not necessarily mean it won’t return.

SharePoint is a Microsoft app. You are unlikely to receive email from it / them, so it seems like another phishing attempt. Junking the email is the correct response.

      cheers, Paul
