Okay, I have a company user of a shared Access 2000 database. She has been set up with editing privleges of this database. When she is trying to go in and create a new macro for this database, she is getting the standard message “you do not have exclusive access to the database at this time, if you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save, blah blah blah…etc.” I know that this message usually comes up when someone is trying to edit a database that someone else has open. But we have made sure everyone else has it closed (even tried it after hours) and I have checked the server log itself, which shows me this user is the only one with the database file open. However, she still gets this message, so she can’t edit in design view or create macros.
Am I missing something here? Why else would this message appear?
