Share Celendar: Outlook 2007 and 2003

Can an Outlook 2007 user share a calendar with Outlook 2003 users? We use Exchange and the 2007 guy tried to share a new calendar with 2003 users but the 2003 users cannot see the 2007 calendar. Any ideas what we’re doing wrong?

Yes, you can share calendars. It all depends on the permissions.
Has everyone at a minimum logged off and back on their respective machines?
What version of Exchange (including service pack)?
Are both versions of Outlook up-to-date with service packs and patches?
