I have now set up another email account. I am with freeserve which means I can have roberta@ourhouse.freeserve.co.uk as well as terry@ourhouse.freeserve.co.uk. I want the emails to go into different folders on arrival. however, in rules it seems only that I can redirect to a folder on senders address rather than recipient. Have I missed something or can this not be done?

    Thanks

    Roberta

I assume you are collecting mail for both accounts at the same time, in which case:

Add roberta & terry to your Contacts or PAB, and add the condition:
“sent to people or distribution list

(I’m fairly certain this works smile )

thanks for this – I just have one problem left now – it appears I get a copy both in the designated folder and in the inbox. I have tried selecting delete but it does not want to play!

Can I achieve just sending to the folders an leave the inbox empty except for stuff which does not know where to go – or am I just being greedy!!!

        Cheers

It seems to work OK for me.
You are selecting “move it to the specified folder ” and not ” move a copy to the specified folder ” ?
(Try adding ” and stop processing more rules. ” at the end of the rule.)
