Server 2025 prompting to “back up”

I’m testing the release preview build of Server 2025 out of interest. One thing I noticed is that it’s prompting me to use the Windows Backup app (which we all know is really an advert for OneDrive). I really hope this consumer rubbish doesn’t end up in the final product!

Others have complained that when the full gui is installed all the full annoyances come along with it.  Let me see if this is in the final/or planned to be pulled out.

I see this pop-up on my brother’s Windows 10 Pro 22H2 once a week.

That’s a workstation.  This is server 2025 code that wouldn’t be backing up to one drive.

Believe me, I would *love* to use Server Core more frequently. But it’s never my decision to make unfortunately.
