Send/receive failure (Microsoft Outlook 2003)

Hello,

Every week or so, Microsoft Outlook just stops being able to send messages. They just sit in my outbook. Usually, shutting down Outlook and restarting it solves the problem. Other times, I have to do a full system shut down and restart.

While shutting down, Outlook says something like, “the program Wincom (something)” is still running, and I have to then force it to shut down.

Does anyone know what the problem is?
