• Select send later date? (2k)

Is it possible to set a date for when you want to send your message? I have a few courses online whose assignments are due on certain dates. I complete most of my assignments in the first two days of the week, and have to wait until the due date to send….send later would serve this purpose nicely.

To send a message later in Outlook Express:

      – Select File | Send Later from the menu in the message window.

The message will be placed in the Outbox folder by Outlook Express until the next Send and Receive takes place, either manually or automatically.

Until then, you can go to the Outbox and edit the message.

If you have more than one email account in Outlook Express, the File menu entry in the message menu will read Send Later Using and you can select the account you want to send the message with there.

whisperWhy don’t you send a test message to someone with a one hour delay grin

Jerry, I’ve used that before, but I want to be able to send at a later date, not the next S&R…

      Jeremy,
I don’t know if this would work for you but if you open OE options> send and UN check the send immediately box, it will place your emails in the “outbox” and then when when you are ready send, you go to outbox and click send.
It doesn’t do it automatically on a particular date but it does store them until you are ready to send.

Just a quick question….does the email have an attachment? I have a cunning plan grin
