    Hi, let’s say there is a bag in a gif. file. the background is empty, of white in color. and i tried to publish the image to a website and the image appear a bag with a square border that is white besides the bag. i wanted to get rid of the white square and just the bag appear in the website. anyone knows how to do this..? can it be done in Paint?

      You can use MS PhotoEditor ( it comes with MS Office ) to apply a transparent background – use the Set Transparent Color icon on the Toolbar and click on an area of the white you want to become transparent.
      Note that ALL white in the picture will become transparent. The picture must be re-saved as a .gif as other formats will not support transparency.
