So after doing some more digging in to my system I came to a point where I am not sure which setting is correct. Once again, I have several Windows 7 machines that are 64-bit pro’s
I have Comodo Firewall installed on all the machines, but this is what I am seeing
If I go to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall I can see the two entries say that the firewall is turned off for both “Home or Work networks” and “Public networks”. Then I go to the services area and on all the machines the Windows Firewall service is set to automatic and it is started.
Now the weird thing, some of my computers settings on the next area are different. So I go to Start > in search window type Windows Firewall and then click on “Windows Firewall with Advance Security”. Now here is what’s strange. On some of the machines the “Domain Profile” firewall is on while on the others it says the firewall is off. The Private Profile and Public Profile are off on all the systems.
What should the setting be for the Domain Profile, On or Off? Since all machines have the Comodo Firewall installed, in my mind the program should adjust these to be the same. But I am not sure, maybe someone here has more experience with this. Thanks
