    Recently revisited an old favorite (updated Jan 2022) to parity check security settings within a Linux Mint installation. Thought I’d pass it on to the troops, as it’s well worth a read through for both newbies, experienced users or veterans.
    After all, our memory isn’t as good as it used to be..

      yes, thank you Microfix for the link to easylinux, i have incorporated lots of the hacks on all three pages. i especially enjoyed the log taming and intel nic speed-ups as well as learning about some hidden cleaning areas and moving Firefox memory to ram from disk.
