I just got home today from a 3 day get away, I installed the June updates when it got the defcon 3 light. Now when I go to a page, I get that stupid “Security Alert” popup saying ebay or sorts does not have the right certificate to go there, or something like that. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know how to fix it for good. (This is not the first time this has happened, last October after doing group B, I ran into the same problem but another update took it away.)

I don’t believe the updates caused this. Where did you say you experienced the problem? ebay?

Hey PK, I used Ebay as an example only, I was going to any website and getting the same thing.
What I did di was oopen task manager and found two Internet Explorer running. This happened last Oct. when I started using the B group instead of checking things out myself. Like I mentioned I just got home and have not fired up the other computers to see if they are doing the same thing. By the way, I tried to get to AskWoody when I got home and it said the site was not safe, would that have been when you were down?

        Thanks for all you do….

See the article on the main blog page. Seems we had an unexpected lapse – in the cert. All better now.

Yes, that was the message I read that made me think something was wrong.
Everything seems to be running fine so far today, so I think it had something to do with the two Internet Explorer working at the same time.

            Again thank you…….
