I am searching for files with the regular windows explorer file manager. I want to make a list with the results (over 100) so I can process with excell?

How can I do that ?

(I tried selecting the search results and File/Send/Put path in Clipboard, but if I select a large number of files, it will yield an error)

    Thanks

You could try the free utility, Karen’s Directory Printer

I’ve had what used to be a free utility from PC Magazine on my computer for several years. It’s called FileGrab and can be seen here: FileGrab. Unfortunately, it now requires a subscription or a one-time fee to download but I still think it’s a worthwhile utility to have. When you open it up, you can drag ANY list of files to its window and save that list as a text file, which of course would answer your question. I believe the one-time fee is reasonable and you might want to give it a look.
