I see that Martin Brinkman is pushing DuckDuckGo via his Ghacks newsletter. Is there any connection or does he just really like it? I have tried it and haven’t fallen in love yet, but I don’t much care for Bing either, and Google is getting really obnoxious with its top load ads.

      Hi Barbara,

I’ve been using DuckDuckgo for a couple of months now and I like it – but I also switch to Google when DDG ‘fails’ me.

DDG is great at filtering out a lot of rubbish from crapware affiliates type sites so ‘real’ rsults might reach the top – 2 pages before they would appear in Google.

Good to know. I need to give it a further work out.

Thanks Clint. I’ll keep that for future reference. Some interesting spots there!!
What I was really after was opinions on DuckDuckGo.
