Scroll Box Control?

Problem: Worksheet with data in first 500 rows, but vertical scroll box, if dragged to bottom of the scroll bar, goes to row 2500. How do you adjust the box range in general, but specifically such that when dragged to the bottom of the scroll bar it takes you to the last row with data?

If you select the row after the last data row, hold down Shift, press End followed by the down arrow (all unused rows should now be selected), then select Edit, Clear, All. Repeat in other sheets as required. Save and close the workbook. Re-open the book and hopefully the problem will be resolved.

This procedure should also reduce the size of the file.

This worked when I did Edit, Delete, All rather than Edit, Clear, All. Thanks very much – this was driving me crazy.
