SaveAs 2000 no workie (2002)

Saved 2002 .pub as a 2000 .pub. Friend with 2000 cannot open. Gets msg: Publisher cannot open this version (or something similar). What’s the trick?

I have seen this issue more often lately. I will be checking with my contacts in the Publisher division tonight about this to see what’s going on. I will post back.

Could you send me the file that you are having trouble with? Make sure it is saved as Publisher 2000. Email to publisherhelp@kvalcom.com

I have that file at home. If I remember, I’ll send a copy. As a workaround, I tried saving the 2002 pub as a 98 pub. That allowed the Publisher 2000 to open the file.
