I’ve worked on this problem off & on for a month; I hate to ask for help, but I’ve run out of ideas and searching for the answer.
The phone is less than a year old and has otherwise worked perfectly. I received a Charmast power bank for Christmas. It is fully charged but my phone won’t take a charge from it. It works on other people’s phones, and works on my old Galaxy S7. I’ve searched through settings looking for USB functions but found nothing giving me any hint. I plug the phone into my desktop evenings to charge and to transfer any/all photos to my desktop. That all works fine. It just won’t charge from my power bank. If there is a setting to enable this, I cannot find it. Haven’t found anything helpful at Google or U-Tube; it’s like nobody else has the same problem?
