Samsung A54 from Tracfone with Android 14.
Every time I go to Settings ==> Software Update, the phone starts updating Samsung One UI. This update has occurred 6 times.
Why does it keep updating?
Is there a ‘layer’ of updates that needs to be done so that eventually when I go to Settings ==> Software Update, there will be no more updates?
Someone suggested I do a factory reset but that would undo all of my changes so I won’t do that.
Any thoughts? Thank you!!!
SOLVED —
The phone executed 8 consecutive updates before the update process was complete. Now when I go to Settings ==> Software Update, there are no more updates.
This issue falls into my #1 pet peeve category with technology. All Samsung had to do was include 2-3 sentences in the Update setting to inform the user that there could be multiple updates. On well……..
