• Run application from Outlook? (A2k)

Okay, so in addition to the great code provided by JohnBF, I would like to open the program ClickYes before my code runs, and close if after the code is finished, however I can’t find any of the commands to do so (call, runapp, docmd, etc..) I can’t find anything, and my key words for this are too vague, so I end up with way too many results (for example, the word application….just about every other thread has the word in it). Any advice?

Why would you do that? Just set ClickYes to start automatically and to run in the background.

If you are referring only to this thread & code, you shouldn’t need ClickYes. The Outlook Object Model Guard mostly operates on attempts to code mail items and address lists. I didn’t get any OOM Guard warnings while testing the elementary code in that post.

        John,
I’ve added on to the code you gave me, with .Assign. ClickYes works great. I can’t figure out Retribution…

Oh, yes, .Assign would hit the Address Lists (including Contacts set as Address Lists), so you would need ClickYes.

Retribution? Do you mean Redemption? I don’t use it – from what I’ve seen many of the Objects and Properties are the same except for their being called “safe”, perhaps another Lounger can help you with Redemption.

Yes, I meant redemption. Since ClickYes takes care of my problem, I suppose I’ll stay away from it. Thanks again for all your help.
