Do you have homeowner’s insurance?  Do you have vehicle insurance?  Do you have medical insurance?  Drive imaging is PC insurance.  I can revert to Windows 10 next week, next month, next year.

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!

We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.

We were all once "Average Users".

I’m hoping my new system never gets asked to upgrade to Win11.  Win10’s working fine for me.  I did spend a lot of time getting my Bios updated for Win11 readiness just in case I change my mind, but so far, not impressed by what I’m seeing.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find that the CIA and similar foreign agencies own or operate some VPN services through 6 degrees of legal separation.

They don’t need to. The 14 eyes have monitoring, logging, decrypting… hardware/software on all main Internet backbones
