We have a Windows 2008 Server with Active Directory.
Although we normally use just ‘our’ computer, our profiles are setup as roaming.
One user just received a Windows 7 computer.
When logging on the first time, Windows displayed an error message about logging the user in with a temporary profile. The Event Viewer for the user shows that “Windows 7 could not load the profile because the server copy exists but does not have the correct security. Either the current user or the Administrators group must be the owner of the folder.”
Did the security change between Vista and Windows 7?
{The administrator can log onto the Windows 7 machine and have his roaming profile come down to the new machine.}
Thanks,
