Right Click Problem

I have a problem with my XP Windows SP2 setup. My computer has decided to crash both Windows Explorer and Power Desk file managers when I right click a file or folder to see Properties. Using ALT Enter also fails.In a document in Word the right click operates normally.

Any clues on how to fix this would be most welcome

Many thanks for solving a problem which has turned up some time ago, and I was able to find the culprit – loading BVRP before the start lis had loaded. But this on was too hard for me and for DELL!

I can now get on with life!
