Has anyone else experienced this? Occasionally after my XP Pro machine starts up and is supposed to be displaying the Desktop, it will automatically, without human intervention, display the dialog box one gets if they intentionally

Try a different mouse, the button may be sticking.

        Dave,

Thanks but that is not the problem.

Edited from this point later – I mixed this post up with another so I must clarify a little.[/i]

I don’t think that is the problem because I have tapped each button (4 of them) while this problem was there and it did nothing. Also it never does this when I am using the mouse during normal everyday use. It is a wireless optical mouse and I thought it might be the batteries but they appeared to be well within their operating range. Also I cannot make this happen so it is very difficult to troubleshoot.

        Thanks again.

have you tried just hitting F5 to refresh without booting?

Sorry for the confusion. I got this post mixed up with another one I just posted today. So I deleted my first reply.

Yes I had tried F5 when this problem occurred and it didn’t help. I can not duplicate this problem on demand so I can’t retry your suggestion but I know I did try F5 along with a lot of other things.

            Thanks again.

        Dave ~

How does one go about putting an image in both places of signature and to the left?
        Please advise at your leisure.
        ThanX!
